This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled when you use PlaylistLength.App ("the website", "we").

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information or Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from our users. All data processing related to the YouTube playlists is done without storing any user-specific data.

If you provide your own YouTube API key, it is kept only in your browser's memory for the current visit (it is not saved to disk and is gone when you reload the page) and is sent directly to Google's servers. It never touches our server.

2. Google Account Access (Private Playlist Tool)

Our "Private Playlists" tool lets you sign in with Google to measure the total duration of your own private YouTube playlists. When you choose to sign in, we request read-only access to your YouTube account (the youtube.readonly scope) solely to read the playlists you select and calculate their length.

The access token and any playlist data stay in your browser, are used only to display results to you, and are neversent to or stored on our servers. This data is not retained after you close the tab, and you can revoke access at any time using the "Disconnect" button or at your Google account permissions page.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Cookies

We do not set our own cookies for tracking purposes. The third-party services listed below set their own cookies, which are subject to their own privacy policies.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and may collect information about your visit. For details on how Google collects and uses this data, see Google's partner-sites policy.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time without notice. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page.
